With Cryptshare for Outlook v2.5.2, we present you a release that improves the overall stability of the Add-in.

Changes

  • Restricted the amount of upload and download items displayed in the Transfer Manager to improve the startup performance of Outlook. Click here for more information.
  • SMS gateway: Added the possibility to encode spaces as “%20” instead of “+” in order to increase support for more gateway providers. The flag "EncodeSpacesAsPercentTwenty" can be found in the User Config.
  • The “Send with Cryptshare” context menu entry in Windows File Explorer is now capable of handling folders as well.

Bugfixes

  • Resolved an issue that caused the recipient notification to be horizontally stretched if the “Reroute Download Link” feature has been enabled.
  • The “Reroute Download Link” feature is now working when the recipient notification is detached from the main Outlook window.
  • Resolved an issue related to the availability of the e-mail classifications for shared mailboxes.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the overlay windows “Terms of Use” and “Did You Know?” to be displayed incorrectly on high-resolution displays under certain circumstances.
  • Resolved an issue that caused temporary Add-in files to remain in the user’s AppData directory under certain circumstances.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the visible e-mail classification to not match the actual selected classification under certain circumstances.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Add-in configuration wizard to show up under certain circumstances even if the user deactivated Cryptshare in order to send a regular e-mail.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the sent e-mail to not be saved in the sent items under certain circumstances.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Add-in to not inform the user under certain circumstances in case files have been removed from the transfer due to the Cryptshare Server pre-processing result.
  • Resolved an issue when managing the list of allowed and forbidden recipients in the corresponding dialog after sending a message.
  • Resolved an issue that caused empty exception windows to appear during Outlook startup under certain circumstances.
  • Removed the time from the “Transfer provided” message in order to avoid confusion because the transfer availability is dependent on the Cryptshare Server’s CleanupTask schedule.
  • Resolved an issue caused by Exchange Online which lead to the verification e-mail not being processed automatically due to missing headers.
  • Resolved an issue when loading an existing config in the config creator.
  • As a workaround, increase http timeout from 2 to 10 minutes to temporarily avoid interruptions via the .NET API when uploading very large files.
  • General stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.
