CSSCurrent en:Update from v4.10.0 to v5.0.0
Important Update Notes
Introduction of 'Security Modes'
General
Until now users could decide between QUICK or the One-Time-Password mode in order to protect a Cryptshare Transfer. This update unifies these modes under the term 'Security Mode' and introduces the new mode 'Electronic Identity (eID)'.
Changes
Administration
The main menu Security Modes has been introduced, the main menu 'QUICK' has been removed and the settings for QUICK moved to Security Modes → QUICK
The setting 'Allowed Password Modes' for the One-Time-Password mode have moved from System Settings → Password Policy to Security Modes → One-Time-Password
Under Security Modes → Default Preset new controls have been introduced for specifying the Security Mode preset for new policy rules.
User Interface
The former controls for switching between One-Time-Password and QUICK have been replaced by new toggle buttons.
New security mode 'Electronic Identity' (eID)
General
The new security mode 'Electronic Identity (eID)' has been introduced. It allows protection of a Cryptshare transfer by verifying the identity of the recipients and guarantees a full audit trail by also verifying the identity of the sender. Please find detailed information about this security mode in the chapter Electronic Identity (eID).
Prerequisites for Electronic Identity
- Electronic Identity is only activated for Enterprise Plus Licences. If you already have an Enterprise Licence, but the feature is not available yet, please get in contact with your Cryptshare sales representative in order to request a new licence file.
- Electronic Identity at the moment only supports the Identity Provider 'Swedish BankID'. Users need to have a Swedish BankID account and a corresponding personal identity number.
Hostname needs to be able to be resolved
Due to internal changes, starting with this update the hostname of the OS the Cryptshare server is running on needs to be able to be resolved. Usually this is already the case, but if you customized the hostname e.g. on a Linux machine, please ensure the following works:
ping $HOSTNAME
