Depending on how the Cryptshare system is used in terms of the size of the files and network restrictions, uploading files can take a very long time. Especially users working through an ADSL connection should be aware of how long it may take uploading data to the internet. Also, the system requirements for the Cryptshare Server (RAM, CPU) are depending on how many up- and downloads are taking place in parallel. If the network between your users and the Cryptshare Server is slow, please take into consideration that this may increase the number of concurrent up- and downloads that the Cryptshare Server may have to handle. The following table shows an overview about how long a file transfer can take, depending on the network bandwidth and size of the data which is to be transferred.
