Operating modes |
Select the operating mode that you want CS4N to use. Use the button to open the tab where mail rules can be edited in the Domino Server Configuration Document. You can select the server in the next screen. Please refer to chapter Operating Modes Overview for more information on rule-based processing of messages. |
Mail.box to forward processed messages to | Select the mailbox where messages should be placed after CS4N has processed them. The messages are forwarded into this mail.box after the attachments have been removed from the message or if the message is under the minimum threshold for processing. |
Language Options for Cryptshare E-Mail Notifications |
Cryptshare adds a text block and a download link into the sender’s message to inform recipient that the files have been detached from the message and are available for download. The text block is customisable. You can set up individual text blocks in up to 8 languages. To present the user with a selection list of the available notification languages, the language codes and an alias number need to be provided in this field. The field "ISO Code" needs to contain the ISO language code of the corresponding language. By using the button the column "Language + Alias ID" is being populated with the language names and the corresponding aliases. This language selection is available to the sender in the preferred content language of his Notes Client when composing a CS4N message. The language selection is only available when manually creating a CS4N e-mail. |
Default Language | The default language is used if no language has been selected for the e-mail notification to the recipient.
This is typically the case for messages that are processed based on server-side rules. |
Mode of EML file transfer |
Transferring e-mail body text and file attachments together The e-mail body text including all attachments will be converted into an EML file. The recipient is thus provided with only one file for download, which contains all information including the file attachments. The behaviour is different from the behaviour of the Cryptshare WEB application and the MS-Outlook plugin. Transferring e-mail body text and attachments separately The e-mail body text is converted to an EML file without the attached files. The recipient is thus provided with the e-mail body text (as an EML file) and all file attachments separately for download. The behavior is similar to the behaviour of the Cryptshare WEB application and the MS-Outlook plugin. Transferring e-mail body text and attachments separately above threshold value If the size of all file attachments combined exceeds the configured threshold value of <Computed Value> MByte, proceed as follows: File attachment size <= Threshold value: "E-mail body text and file attachments transferred together" File attachment size> Threshold value: "E-mail body text and attachments transferred separately" |
E-mail sender address notation | May be required to enable third-party software in the Domino infrastructure to evaluate / assign the e-mail sender. E.G.: IQ-Suite (E-mail signature trailer)
SMTP e-mail address SMTP e-mail address of the sender e.g.: john.doe@cryptshare.com SMTP e-mail address in RFC format SMTP e-mail address in RFC format of the sender e.g: John Doe <john.doe@cryptshare.com> This should be the default setting as long as it does not conflict with third-party software. The name "John Doe" is displayed for the recipient of the e-mail. Notes Name Notes Name of the sender z. B.: CN=John Doe/O=cryptshare/C=COM Atruvia AG Cloud compliant Send e-mail options for the Atruvia AG cloud environment. (Data center of the German Volks- and Raiffeisenbanken) |
Messaging type to internal recipients | With this option you define the form in which notifications are sent to internal recipients. Internal recipients will be detected by using the domain part of an SMTP e-mail address, specified as primary or alternative internet domain in the global domain entry of the server configuration (Messaging > Domains). Notice To ensure that the delivery to an internal group of recipients is carried out without detouring via the Cryptshare server, an additional marking must be made. A keyword for the processing of such notifications must be specified in the configuration (at this point: flag for internal e-mail forwarding). |
