The CS4N&D icon can also be rolled out in the background as a ‘silent installation’. To do this, the agent ‘(Client-Setup_CS4N-Icon-Silent)’ is called up via Notes Script in the CS4N&D application. This functionality must be added (programmed) in the PostOpen of the email application, for example. The agent can be started from any application from the user's Notes client. The agent then installs the CS4N&D icons () in the background in the user's configured toolbar. The next time the Notes client is started, the smart icon is then available to the user.

Note
The ‘Desktop Settings’ (policy settings) can be used to ensure that the ‘Universal’ toolbar is always displayed in Notes clients.
