CSNCurrent en:Tab "Monitoring"

The ‘Monitoring’ tab monitors the dwell times of emails and the runtimes of agents for file transfers to the Cryptshare server, and handles error processing for transfers. This is necessary to ensure that the email sender or the configured administrator is informed in the event of problems.

Runtimes

Check No. 1: (checked before the dwell time check) If the pure upload process (agent runtime) of the attachments in the sender's email takes longer than the defined time (field: ‘Escalation after’), this situation is escalated to the defined recipients. This situation can have various causes, e.g. overload of the Cryptshare server or connection interruption during the upload.

Retention periods

Check No. 2: (checked after the runtime check) If an email has been provided by the user for sending via Cryptshare and this email has still not been processed by CS4N after the defined time, the defined persons receive feedback on this. This situation can have various causes, e.g. Cryptshare server overload or connection interruption during upload.

Error handling

If there are error messages in the CS4N&D Log application, these settings are used to configure how notifications to administrators, etc. are handled.
