Breaking Changes
App registration in Azure Entra Platform is required
As the add-in utilizes Microsoft Graph to provide some of its functionality the registration of the add-in in the Azure Entra Platform is required. You find a guide for the registration here.
Language Pack version 5 required
In order to use Cryptshare for OWA, new language packages must be installed on the Cryptshare Server. You may obtain these language packages here.

Sending Transfers
- It is now possible to send transfers directly from the OWA Add-in, without needing to use the Web Interface.
- Adding files to the transfer via drag-and-drop is supported.
- Transfer settings for outgoing transfers are retained when switching between different drafts or views.
New and Improved Transfer Retrieval
- The procedure of retrieving transfer files has been reworked and improved. Users now have the ability to selectively download or import files into their mailbox when retrieving transfers.
Automatic Verification
- User verification can now be automatically completed, without needing to manually enter the code from a verification email.
New Languages Supported
- The add-in now supports Finnish and Ukrainian languages.
General Usability Improvements
- Accessibility of the add-in has been enhanced with improvements in color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and font sizes.
- The loading time of the add-in has been reduced by over 40%.
- New informational views have been introduced for scenarios where no email or multiple emails are selected.
- Error messages have been enhanced to provide clearer and more helpful guidance.
Changes
- It is no longer possible to change the Server URL.
