About this version

This version introduces header-based authentication as well as advanced trusted network configuration. This allows the product to be used in combination with an Microsoft Exchange Online Server for Microsoft 365 customers.

Changes

  • The setup procedure now has a separate mail server configuration and trusted hosts/networks configuration.
  • Trusted hosts/networks are now managed by the cmg-filter service. Therefore, these addresses must now only be configured in the config.properties file. The cmg-filter will automatically update the Postfix/OpenDKIM/OpenDMARC configuration files.
  • If enabled during the setup or via configuration file, the cmg-filter service will use a Microsoft web service to fetch the current IP addresses of trusted Microsoft 365 mail servers periodically.
  • Several included 3rd party software libraries have been updated.
