General 

Cryptshare AG recommends the following general hardware requirements in order to properly run the Cryptshare for OWA Add In.

• Processor

1.6 GHz or higher

• Memory (RAM)

1 GB of RAM or higher

• Screen resolution (Desktop)

1024 × 768 minimum

• Internet connection

High-speed Internet access is recommended.

Operating System

Ideally the latest operating system available is recommended as it supports most features and provides better security than older versions.

• Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1.
• Mac OS X 10.10 or later
• Linux: Cryptshare for OWA works in both Firefox and Chrome on Linux
  • Some features may not be available.

Chrome	Newest version on Windows and on other platforms
Firefox	Newest version and extended support version on standard desktop
Safari	Newest version on MacOS
Opera	Newest version on desktop
Edge Chromium	Newest version on Win & Mac

Unsupported Browsers

In line with Microsoft browser support, other browsers such as IE11 & Edge Legacy and all mobile browsers are not supported.

Exchange Online Environment

Microsoft Account

In order to be able to use the Cryptshare for OWA add in an active Microsoft 365 subscription including Exchange Online and the ability to sideload add-ins is required.

Outlook

Cryptshare for OWA supports Outlook on the web. Outlook for Windows (Desktop Client) is currently not supported.
