About this version

This version adds compatibility to the newest technical agreements regarding interoperability, which where released on 21.04.2020 ("Technische Hardreiking Veilige Mail 1.1").

Changes

  • The format of the DNS TXT record to declare compliancy with NTA 7516 has changed. However, Cryptshare for NTA 7516 is still also compatible with the initial version of the technical agreements ("Technische Hardreiking Veilige Mail 1.0").
  • The check of the abovementioned DNS records during sending allows multiple records which may be partially invalid. At least one record has to be valid.
  • The name and content of the header that is added to NTA7516-compliant emails has changed.
  • In the default configuration of Cryptshare Mail Gateway, no email headers are removed.
