Hardware Appliance

The Cryptshare Hardware Appliance is a pre-configured system (hardware and software). No additional hardware or software requirements need to be fulfilled. The Hardware Appliance comes as a 19" rack machine with the following specifications:

  • Intel Ci3 4330TE Haswell Prozessor, QuadCore, 2,4 GHz, 4MB Cache
  • 2 x 2 TB HDD SATA (RAID 1)
  • 2 x 2GB DDR3 RAM
  • 19 1 U Rackmount Appliance
    • Height 43,8 mm (1.72")
    • Width 43,0 mm (1.69")
    • Depth 63,3 mm (24.92")
  • Power Supply Unit 300W (not redundant)

Warranty valid 36 months within Europe (bring-in service).

Minimum Requirements

  • VMware vSphere 4.0 or later
  • Minimum 50 GB HDD space
  • Minimum 4 GB RAM
  • Minimum DualCore Processor

Optimum System Equipment / Sizing

We are happy to determine the optimum system resources for your system. For this, some information about the expected system load is required:

  • Expected number of transfers per day
  • Expected average size for a transfer
  • Preferred average retention period for the transfers
  • Expected peak load (How many up,- and download operations shall the system be able to handle at maximum)
