In the Cryptshare Policy, you can set up rules containing a set of options that Cryptshare uses if a certain sender/recipient combination applies. Thus you can define in detail, how the system should work if certain senders and recipients communicate with each other.
For each transfer all matching policy rules for the given sender and recipients are merged into one rule that is used for this transfer.
Click on 'New' to set up a new rule. A wizard will guide you through
all necessary steps to set up policy rules.
You don't need to define every single sender or recipient
individually. You can use email addresses, email domains, IP
addresses, IP address ranges or even regular expressions to define or
describe the sender and recipient side of a rule. Rules can be used to
explicitly allow or deny a certain sender/recipient combination.
If you set up very many rules, policy conflicts can occur if a user creates a transfer with a list of recipients of which some are covered by different rules that are non-conforming. Refer to section 'Policy Conflict Solution' to set up how Cryptshare should solve policy conflicts.
NOTE: You need to define at least one policy rule to be able to use Cryptshare. Otherwise no communication is allowed.
